According to the report, the number of users of the Threads app has decreased by about five times. After 3-4 days of its launch, Threads Android app saw traffic of 49.3 million which has now reduced to 10.3 million. This means that the number of users of the app has decreased by 79 percent. At the same time, the average time spent on the platform in America has also decreased significantly. Earlier users were spending 21 minutes on the app, which has now come down to less than 3 minutes.

Launched in competition with X Corp

Text-based social media app Threats has been introduced to rival X Corp (formerly Twitter). The app was introduced on 6th July and has been gaining popularity since its launch. However, now there is troubling news for Meta. Threats used to be a problem for Twitter, but now the number of users of Threads is steadily decreasing.

Let us tell you that X Corp currently has more than 100 million daily active users, while the users of Threads have reduced to only 10.3 million daily active users. X Corp is also far ahead in terms of average time spent. Users on X spend an average time of around 25 minutes every day.

Threads has created many records since its launch

Within just two hours of its launch, Threads was downloaded by 20 lakh people and now in just 18 hours its download figure has reached 30 million i.e. 3 crores. In such a situation, Threads was considered to be the biggest rival for Elon Musk’s Twitter. For your information, it took two years for Twitter to cross the number of 1 crore downloads.
